4 | Como se dice, "this beer sucks bad?" Modelo Especial no es especial. Anyway, it definitely wasn't as good as Negra Modelo. In fact it wasn't even good at all. Luckily I had 1 margarita and 1 Bohemia prior to drinking this one. |

9.5 | Hey I'm a black male which our nationality normally likes malt liquor. I went from drinking budlight to corona and I tried Modelo Especial and been drinking it with my JD everysince real good smooth, fast drinking beer. add a little twang and tomato juice and you got yourself a liquid meal. |

its smooth as hell, easy to drink, but i read everywhere that it has 6% alcohol percentage and thats hard to believe considering how smooth it is. If you like corona and pacifico, then you will like modelo especial. | |

8.5 | I'm a bartender from San Antonio, Texas. Texas drink alot of beer, San Antonians drink alot of Mexican Beers too. Alot of people like Modelo (Especial y Negro). It's one of the more popular beers, behind Dos Equis and Corona (which isn't a great beer). |

8.5 | A lime is a must. Gotta be cold. Great summer beer. Very smooth and good with Mexican food. It's nice to alternate between this, Dos Equis & Pacifico. All 3 are better than Corona. II don't midn Corona either but it's a small step down. All of them MUST have lime, and again, great summer beers. |

9 | if you go into your average liquor store i would have to say this is the best beer you can buy. it tastes exactly like heineken, but not as skunky and overwhelming, its cheep as well, so, its a great buy |

8 | I'm not thrilled with the latest trend on beer brewing which tends towards a hoppy grapefruit flavor. My favorite beer is Smithwicks, but if I want a light bodied beer that is inoffensive a Modelo Especial can't be beat. It's cheaper than the American mass-brews like Bud or Miller but with a more distinctive flavor. If you can get it for $5.50 a six pack as I can then you should stock up. |
